Preliminary round.

 

The International Tournament will be played under IHF rules.

The Matches will last:

2 x 12 minutes for the Children, young boys/girls, boys/girls. age-groups.

2 x 15 minutes for the junior, men/women and Senior age-groups.

Each team to have a maximum of 14 players.

Each player can play for two different teams from his/her club according to these miles:

•  The teams must not be in the same age-group.

•  A player will only be allowed to play in his/her age-group and the next group up. Example: a junior player can play in a junior category team and in a Men/Women team.

Each team to appoint a manager. This official will supply a list of team member on arrival. The manager of each team must be available to contact 24 hrs. A day for the duration for the Tournament, o it would be advisable to have a mobile phone.

If a team's strip clashes with an opponent's the away team will charge, so all teams should bring at last 2 strips.

All teams must be on court 15 minutes before the start of their match.

The home team will “Kick-off” in the first half, the away team in the second half.

Any team leaving the playing area before the end of the match, will be disqualified from the Tournament.

At the end of a match, each team manager will sign the scorecard. If a card is not signal, the opposing team will be declared the winner by a 0-15 margin.

The home team must provide the ball to be med. This should measure as follows:

Junior & Senior 58-60 cm. (425-475 gr.).

Boys/girls 54-56 cm. (325-400 gr.).

Children 50-52 cm. (275-325 gr.).

All players must be able to prove their age wherever required by the committee.

If a team uses over-age players in a particular category it will be disqualified from the Tournament.

Complaints/appeals must be had in writing to the committee, within a maximum time-limit of 15 minutes from the end of a match, with a abound of 120 €.

If the appeal in upheld, the abound will be returned.

If a team fails to show up or no valid reasons for a match, it will be deemed to have lost 0-15.

If this occurs again, the team will be disqualified.

If the tournament committee decides that the no-show vas deliberate, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.

Teams will be split into groups of 4 – 5 teams each, with a team playing all the other teams in that group. Playing with in the group will be on points.

Points system: win=2 points

Draw=1 point

Defeat=0 points

If 2 or more teams are equal on points at the end of the preliminary round, classification will be determined as follows:

•  After goal difference.

•  Greater number of goals for.

•  Result between tied teams.

Throw from 7 meters

 

Final round.

The 2 best teams from each group will qualify for final round A and the rest of the teams will qualify to play the final round B.

The final rounds will be played in the same format as the Preliminary round. The 2 best teams from the final round A will play the A final or the Tournament, which the 3 rd team of the final round A and the best team of the final round B will play the B final.
